ACS880-01-045A-3+K492 is a wall-mounted single low-voltage AC drive belonging to ABB premium ACS880 series, rated 22kW normal duty and 18.5kW heavy duty under 3-phase 380–415VAC input. The +K492 factory option integrates an internal brake chopper to dissipate regenerative energy via external braking resistors during rapid deceleration of high-inertia loads. Equipped with ABB proprietary Direct Torque Control (DTC), it delivers ultra-precise torque and speed regulation without encoder feedback. It features standard Safe Torque Off (STO) safety function, built-in Category C2 EMC filter, coated circuit boards for harsh environments, and flexible onboard I/O terminals. It supports mainstream industrial fieldbus protocols for seamless PLC networking, and can be commissioned via Drive Composer PC tool or local control panel.
